The short version

unquit does not collect personal data. Your commitment subjects, timers, and history remain on your device.

Data stored on your device

The app stores the subject you select, timer start and end times, completion status, and—if you stop early—the localized ticket price and Apple transaction identifier. This information is used only to operate the timer and history features.

This data is stored locally using Apple’s on-device storage frameworks. Deleting the app removes this local data.

In-App Purchases

Early-stop tickets are consumable In-App Purchases processed by Apple. unquit never receives or stores your payment-card details. Apple may process purchase information under Apple’s own privacy policy.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, unquit schedules a local notification for the end of a timer. Notification content is created and delivered by the operating system and is not sent to us.

Analytics, advertising, and tracking

unquit includes no advertising SDK, analytics SDK, tracking technology, account system, or developer-operated backend. We do not sell or share personal data.

Children

unquit is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes and support

We may update this policy if the app changes. The effective date above will be updated. Current support information is available on the unquit support page.
