The commitment has no pause by design. You can let it finish, or choose the clearly labeled paid ticket to stop early.

Only after you tap the paid-ticket button and confirm Apple’s system purchase sheet. Closing or canceling that sheet does not stop the timer and does not charge you.

Family approval or payment processing may leave a purchase pending. unquit does not stop the timer until Apple verifies the purchase. A verified unfinished ticket is recovered without charging you twice.

All unquit data is stored locally. Deleting the app removes its subjects, timers, and history from the device.

Open iPhone Settings, choose Apps, unquit, Notifications, and allow notifications. The timer itself continues even if notifications are off.

Purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled at reportaproblem.apple.com.
